Wow! "Small" Nuclear saves the planet!

Nuclear costs never seem to include all the externalities: "explore, find, mine, refine, store, transport, store, handle waste". These are huge contributors to the economic, atmospheric, land and ocean impacts of CO2 and physical damage. 600 tunnels 7km deep with drill holes & turbine plants could pipe electricity to the surface and replace all fossil fuel plants for regional power. Every airport, military base and transportation or power right-of-way could host them. And the energy (though not the electricity) "to boil water" is free, forever. How about Apollo the other way?
